Our Current Pastor

Pastor William Ingram and his wife, Katie, are graduates of Hyles-Anderson College in Crown Point, Indiana. They moved to Denver in November of 2006.

After the former Pastor, Tommy Moore, had a heart attack in December of 2006, Pastor Ingram began filling the pulpit during every service. Pastor Ingram continued to fill the pulpit and teach the word of God while starting serveral new ministries at the church.

In May of 2009 the church voted unanimously to have William Ingram officially become the new Pastor of Messiah Baptist Church after two years of being the acting Pastor.

Pastor Ingram continues to preach with the same zeal and enthusiasm with which Messiah Baptist Church has been known for since it was started in 1955.

Our Founding Pastor

Pastor and Mrs. Tommy Moore started what would become Messiah Baptist Church in the basement of a home in 1955. Though the name and location changed a few times, the purpose and drive has remained the same through the many years; to see souls saved and lives changed through the preaching of God's Word.

Mrs. Moore went home to be with the Lord in November of 2011. She joyfully served her Saviour and her husband faithfully throughout her life. She was a great testimony of a true Christian lady, and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
